Madeline Veitch - Some Thoughts on Birth, Maternal Mortality, and Systemic Racism

Black women giving birth in America have 2.5 times the rate of maternal mortality that White women do. This short zine talks about some of the ways in which systemic racism is responsible for this high rate of death for Black mothers, with a few action steps that individuals can take to work toward racial justice in maternal health.
